"I wish I could show you
When you are lonely or in darkness
the astonishing light of your own being."
Hafiz
I echo Hafiz's words; in my work as a somatic therapist, I try to show people the "astonishing light of (their) own being." What does the light of your own being look (or feel) like?
For the darkness is fading away, and the true light is already shining.

Did I mention that I will be starting graduate school this month?! It is my way of "becoming myself!" I will be working towards a Master's Degree in Pastoral Counseling. I intend to become a licensed professional counselor who integrates bodywork and talk therapy; a hands-on holistic therapist. I look forward to using my training for your benefit.

"The whole thing in a nutshell, doing this work, is you put your hands on and you blend. You become one with the person you're working on. The intelligence of that person starts coming through into you and it comes into your consciousness."

“Knock, and He'll open the door
Vanish, and He'll make you shine like the sun
Fall, and He'll raise you to the heavens
Become nothing, and He'll turn you into everything.”
Rumi
